Hocam\u0131z sunumunda modern psikolojinin ihtiya\u00e7lar\u0131na ve \u0130slami Psikoloji \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131n\u0131n bu alandaki katk\u0131lar\u0131na de\u011findi.<br>\u0130nsan\u0131n yaln\u0131zca beden ve zihin \u00fczerinden ele al\u0131nmas\u0131n\u0131n yetersiz oldu\u011fu; beden-zihin-kalp b\u00fct\u00fcnl\u00fc\u011f\u00fc i\u00e7erisinde de\u011ferlendirilmesi gerekti\u011fi ifade edildi. \u00d6zellikle \u201ckalp\u201d kavram\u0131n\u0131n de\u011ferler, maneviyat ve ahlaki y\u00f6n ile ili\u015fkili oldu\u011fu vurguland\u0131. Ayr\u0131ca metafizik referanslar olmadan insan hakk\u0131nda konu\u015fman\u0131n m\u00fcmk\u00fcn olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131 dile getirildi.Psikoterapi alan\u0131nda \u201cahlak\u201d kavram\u0131n\u0131n b\u00fcy\u00fck \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcde g\u00f6z ard\u0131 edildi\u011fi; baz\u0131 durumlarda insan davran\u0131\u015flar\u0131n\u0131n yaln\u0131zca patoloji \u00fczerinden de\u011ferlendirilmesinin problemli sonu\u00e7lar do\u011furabilece\u011fi ifade edildi. Ki\u015filik bozukluklar\u0131 \u00f6rne\u011fi \u00fczerinden mevcut a\u00e7\u0131klamalar\u0131n s\u0131n\u0131rlar\u0131 tart\u0131\u015f\u0131ld\u0131.<br>\u0130slam\u00ee gelenekte yer alan tevekk\u00fcl, tevbe, muhasebe, dua ve sab\u0131r gibi kavramlar\u0131n psikoterap\u00f6tik a\u00e7\u0131dan \u00f6nemli kar\u015f\u0131l\u0131klar ta\u015f\u0131d\u0131\u011f\u0131 ifade edildi.
